R.I.P. Laptop

Well, my laptop died a few months ago and it turns out the hard drive is totally fried so they can't get anything off of it. I thought the only casualties would be some music that I had downloaded on it because we use our desktop for everything else. I was wrong. I lost almost all of our pictures from September to just before Christmas as well. Here are a few pictures of Daisy's first snow and of her just being cute that I had in my e-mail and Shutterfly. The only other significant ones that I lost are her 5 month pictures and her first Thanksgiving. So, anyone from the Bunker/Sampson side that were down in St. George at the Holt's last year, if you have any pictures of Daisy that you could send my way, I would appreciate it.

Haven't you always wanted a monkey?

For Halloween this year we dressed Daisy up as a monkey. We went to our Trunk-or-Treat and she loved it. If they let her pick her own candy out, she would always pick a sucker if she could. She also wouldn't let anyone put the candy in her bucket, she had to do it herself. She's a pretty cute monkey anyways, but especially when she has the costume on.

She was eagerly waiting for me to put her shoes on and didn't want to stand for the picture.

Our friend Lance brought her some Halloween glasses and she loved them.

Pumpkin Patch

Just before Halloween we took Daisy to a pumpkin patch. She had so much fun. I'm glad she is finally getting big enough to do fun stuff like this.

There was a huge pumpkin that she HAD to climb.

We trusted Troy to lead us through the corn maze.

Then Daisy thought going the wrong way would be fun.

She must have my sense of direction.

She made a new friend in the maze.

And then she got to pick out her own pumpkin.

Blog-A-Thon

It seems recently that things have slowed down in the blogging world, so I thought I would contribute. I have pulled myself away from my oh so busy life to give the update that I promised "soon" back in July. For those of you that don't know me well, I have a very loose interpretation of the word "soon".

For my fellow blog-stalkers looking for more to waste a couple minutes of your time with (it sadly won't take more than two), I submit three months of my life. You're welcome.

July Spectacular

July was a pretty busy month for us.

We spent the 4th of July weekend with my parents. They came out to visit and we had a picnic at the park.

We played on some swings.

We fed the ducks.

And we played in the fountain.

That night we went and sat by the Provo temple and watched the Stadium of Fire Fireworks. Grandpa bought Daisy some of those glow necklace things and she had a great time swinging them around.

Grandma & Papa Clark got to take Daisy swimming.

We "helped" my brother move his office.

Towards the end of the month, Daisy and I went to Colorado for a family reunion on my Mom's side. Daisy DID NOT STOP. I spent the whole time just following her around. They had some fun kids rides that only cost a quarter, so she went on some of those and had a great time.

While in CO, Daisy discovered a car she is actually allowed to drive.

We rounded out the month Redneck Style and went to a rad Demolition Derby with the Bunker/Sampson clan. Luckily for Daisy, her hair is growing out into a pretty sweet mullett, so she fit in pretty well. She was definitely the cutest mullett headed person there though.

Watching cars crash into each other on purpose is a pretty good time.

June Jubilee

June was exactly what a summer month should be. All we were missing was a big wrap around porch and it would have been just like one of those lemonade commercials. Well, almost.

Daisy and I took a Mommy & Me swimming class. That little girl is quite the fish. I have to watch her around water constantly now because she wants to just jump right in.

We ate a lot of ice cream.

Troy finished up his summer class, so most of our spare time was spent playing Rock Band. Even Daisy got in on the action. She wants to be the drummer just like her Mom.

To sum up, June rocked!

The Darling Buds of May

May is a big month for us (by "big" I mean two significant things happen). We celebrated our anniversary and Daisy's FIRST Birthday.

We went to Colorado to celebrate Daisy's birthday. She had lots of fun watching her cousins play and being spoiled by Grandma & Grandpa Clark. I made her a Daisy cake because I fully expect her to come to loathe Daisies the way I force them on her, so this may have been one of the only times I could make it. She dug right in and enjoyed being cheered on by her cousins.

On her actual birthday back in Utah, Troy and I took her to Chuck E. Cheese's. As expected, the food was terrible, but Daisy had a good time despite not feeling well.

I can't believe how much she has changed from the tiny baby she was just last year.

Troy and I celebrated our anniversary by going to our favorite restaurant - The Bombay House - for dinner. Unfortunately, it was Memorial Day so they were closed. So we went to some so-so barbecue place instead and then we went to the worse than so-so Indiana Jones movie. It was nice to get out and spend some much needed time with just my sweet husband though.

After months of telling everyone I was starting a blog, I finally got around to actually doing it. We've done some fun things recently, so I will post those pictures soon. I'm happy to finally be a part of the blogging world so everyone can see what we've been up to since I'm not so much the "keeping in touch" type.
